NADRA’s Pak-ID App To Provide Birth, Marriage & Death Certificates In Punjab

Punjabis can use the National Database and Registration Authority’s (NADRA) Pak-ID mobile app from the comfort of their homes to register significant life events in their respective Union Councils and acquire all associated certifications.

Pak ID App Now Offers Life Event Certificates 

A significant improvement to the Pak ID App enables users to apply for and obtain life event certificates straight from their phones. Birth, marriage, divorce, and death certificates can now be obtained by Punjabi citizens without going to Union Council offices. 

With just a few taps, families can access vital documents from home thanks to NADRA’s new digital service, which speeds up, simplifies, and entirely online the procedure.

Agreement Signed Between NADRA & Punjab Gov 

An agreement between NADRA and the Department of Local Government Punjab allows residents to register significant life events at their Union Councils and acquire certificates using NADRA’s mobile app, Pak-ID.

The agreement was signed by Director General (DG) NADRA Lahore region, Ms. Fizza Shahid, and Secretary Local Government Punjab, Mian Shakeel Ahmed.

NADRA Announces New Winter Timings fFor KP Centres 2025 

For the winter of 2025, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released updated operation hours for its Khyber Pakhtunkhwa centers. According to NADRA officials, the new time has been effective from November 19.

The NADRA’s timetable states that the five-day-a-week regional head office and zonal offices will be open from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

NADRA registration centers will operate five days a week in a single shift. The hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NADRA Urges Parents to Update Children’s B-Forms on Time

NADRA has encouraged parents once more to make sure their children’s B-Forms are updated as soon as possible, particularly when they turn three. An updated B-Form is necessary for seamless school admissions and other official procedures, the administration stressed. 

To minimize last-minute problems, parents are urged to apply for the new Child Registration Certificate (CRC) through the Pak ID App or local NADRA Registration Centers

Additionally, NADRA emphasized that timely documentation guarantees continuous access to vital government services and aids in the maintenance of correct family records.

NADRA Urges Parents To Get New Photo B-Form After Child Turns 3

NADRA has made it clear that a new photo B-Form is needed for any future official records and school-related paperwork after a kid turns three, rendering the previously issued B-Form void. The authority has provided two easy ways for parents to get the updated B-Form in order to help them avoid delays:

  • Take the youngster to the closest NADRA Registration Center so that biometrics can be verified and a photo can be taken.
  • Using the Pak ID mobile app, parents may apply from home and finish the procedure online without going to an office.

This improved method makes official procedures easier for families and guarantees that every child’s information stays correct in the national database.
