Pakistan Updated Petrol Prices: 2025 Update 

In an effort to alleviate the country’s inflation, Pakistan has lowered the price of gasoline and high-speed diesel during the first two weeks of December 2025.

According to a news statement from the Petroleum Division, the federal government changed the price of petroleum based on suggestions made by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra).

Prices Of Petrol Reduce By Rs2 per liter

In response to growing Petrol costs, the Pakistani government has promised a decrease in petroleum rates. According to ARY News, the price of petrol has been lowered by Rs2 per liter, making it Rs263.45 per liter.

Additionally, the cost of high-speed diesel has decreased by Rs 4.79 per liter. High-speed diesel is currently priced at Rs279.65 per liter.

This latest adjustment in petrol prices comes as part of the government’s routine fortnightly review aimed at easing the burden on motorists and transporters. Officials say petrol prices will continue to be monitored closely in the coming weeks, particularly as international oil markets remain volatile.

Pakistan Set for Petrol Price Drop of Rs3.70 to Rs6.35 From Dec 1

Previously, it was anticipated that starting on December 1, 2025, petrol prices in Pakistan would drop by Rs3.70 to Rs6.35 a liter during the next two weeks

The government was supposed to release the updated fuel rates on Sunday (today), possibly providing the public with additional respite, according to official sources. According to preliminary calculations, the price of different petroleum products would drop by between Rs3.70 and Rs6.35 per liter.

According to sources, the price of gasoline could decrease by Rs3.70 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel could decrease by Rs 4.28 per liter. It was calculated that light diesel oil would drop by Rs6.35 a liter and kerosene oil by Rs 0.73.

The Petroleum Division was supposed to get the pricing report from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) tomorrow. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will then receive the recommendations from the Ministry of Finance and the Petroleum Division for final approval.

The updated fuel prices will go into effect on Monday, December.
