The UAE Consul General, HE Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi, has released a statement informing the public that the reports of visa suspension for Pakistanis are wholly untrue.

According to the Consul General, Pakistani nationals can still apply for UAE visas without any problems, and relations between Pakistan and the UAE are still solid and stable. He went on to say that conspiratorial groups are spreading false rumors in an attempt to cause confusion.

He emphasized the services offered in Pakistan, pointing out that the biggest visa office in Asia, situated in Karachi, is fully operating and has employees committed to helping their Pakistani counterparts. He clarified that while advance appointments are necessary for some types of visas, all services are still available.

In order to ensure that Pakistanis can continue to go to the UAE for necessary services and opportunities, the Consul General reiterated that support for medical care, educational seminars, and other related services remains fully functioning.
