In the event that there were actual mistakes made during registration, this service allows parents or legal guardians to request an increase or decrease in a child’s registered date of birth.

New Facilities Introduced By NADRA

The B-Form is a crucial document needed for children’s overseas travel, school admissions, and passport applications.

Citizens can change the date of birth on the B-Form, also called the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), thanks to a feature offered by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

The update attempts to address long-standing problems that families have encountered when applying for passports, school admission, and other official procedures where precise age records are crucial. NADRA is guaranteeing increased openness, accuracy, and convenience for Pakistani citizens by offering a transparent and lawful corrective procedure.

Nadra Updates Online Applications For Applicants

Additionally, parents can now apply for a B-Form online without physically visiting NADRA facilities thanks to an improvement to the organization’s online application process. The Pak-ID mobile application can now be used to submit applications, cutting down on lengthy lines and streamlining the registration procedure.

Along with online registration, NADRA has made it clearer how to update the form’s date of birth.

Correct Date of Birth on B-Form Issued via Union Council Record

In response to a question posed on social media, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) explained that any changes to the date of birth must first be submitted at the appropriate Union Council when a B-Form is produced based on a computerized birth certificate.

To formally alter the birth record, parents or guardians must go to the Union Council where the birth was first registered.

The amended information can then be used to apply for the correction of the child’s B-Form through NADRA once the correction has been authorized and the new electronic birth certificate has been issued. This procedure guarantees the consistency and legal verification of all official records.

Step-by-Step Process to Apply for B-Form (CRC) Through Pak ID

  • To apply for the Child Registration Certificate (B-Form) online, parents or legal guardians must first log in to their Pak ID account. Those who do not already have an account can easily create a new one by registering with their CNIC details.
  • After logging in, click on the “Apply Now” option and select “Issuance of Identity Document” from the available services. Next, choose “Identity Card” and then select “Child Registration Certificate (CRC)” to proceed with the application.
  • Applicants will be required to enter the 13-digit CNIC number of one parent to initiate the process. The system will automatically display prefilled information, which should be carefully reviewed for accuracy.
  • Next, upload a recent photograph of the child and provide a digital signature as required by NADRA. Parents must then enter the child’s personal details and upload all necessary supporting documents, including the birth certificate and parents’ CNIC copies.
  • As part of the verification process, the fingerprints of one parent must be provided digitally. Once all information is entered, applicants should review the complete form carefully before submitting the application.
  • After successful submission and completion of all steps, parents will be able to download the B-Form (CRC) directly through the Pak ID Mobile App, making the process quick and convenient.

Important Documents Needed

Citizens can attend the closest NADRA Registration Center with legitimate documentation of their correct birthdate to get their age corrected. Original travel documents, diplomas, military records, and medical records are all acceptable forms of documentation.

To prevent processing delays, NADRA encouraged residents to make sure all supporting documentation is correct and validated before requesting any corrections.

Conclusion

NADRA’s facility to correct the date of birth on a child’s B-Form has made the process easier, faster, and more transparent for parents. By allowing both online applications through Pak ID and clear guidance for Union Council-based corrections, families can now fix genuine errors without unnecessary hassle. Ensuring accurate birth records helps avoid future problems in school admissions, passports, and other official matters, making this update a helpful step for citizens across Pakistan.
