Punjab Begins LDP Phase-II: CM Maryam Approves Upgrade of 6,284 Streets
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has officially launched the Lahore Development Plan (LDP) Phase-II, a massive urban renewal initiative aimed at transforming 6,284 streets across Lahore. The project is designed to improve the city’s overall infrastructure, enhance liveability, and uplift the appearance of both residential and commercial neighbourhoods.
According to official briefings shared with the CM on Sunday, the government aims to complete the development of 5,798 streets under the Lahore Municipal Corporation (LMC) and 486 streets under WASA by June 30 next year.
