Social Protection Wallet Activation – Step-by-Step Guidelines

Speaking at the launch, BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted the complete process for activating the new digital wallet. She stated that all eligible women must:

  • Visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office or designated camp site
  • Carry their original CNIC and an active mobile phone
  • Complete biometric verification
  • Receive a free BISP-issued SIM for wallet activation

Senator Rubina Khalid strictly warned beneficiaries not to pay anyone for obtaining the SIM, as it is being provided completely free of cost under the official program.

She also clarified that the Social Protection Wallet will only be activated on the SIM provided by BISP, and beneficiaries must avoid dealing with any unauthorized persons or private agents.

How This New Wallet Will Improve BISP Payments

According to the chairperson, all future BISP installments, including Kafalat and Taleemi Wazaif stipends, will be transferred exclusively through this new digital wallet. All official messages, payment alerts, and updates will also be sent to this dedicated SIM only.

She emphasized that this digital wallet is not an ordinary SIM, but a secure financial tool designed to empower women by giving them full control over their payments. With this new system, BISP aims to eliminate fraud, unauthorized deductions, agent fees, and long waiting times at payment centers.

Deadline for Collecting Free SIMs

BISP has advised all eligible beneficiaries to collect their free SIMs by December 31 from the nearest BISP office or designated distribution camp. Women are urged to safeguard this SIM carefully, as it will serve as their official digital wallet for all future transactions.
